Israeli soldiers abducted, on Tuesday at dawn, at least nine Palestinians from their homes in several parts of the occupied West Bank, the Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) has reported.
The PPS said the soldiers invaded Marah Rabah Village, south of Bethlehem, south of occupied Jerusalem in the West Bank, and abducted Khalil Mohammad Sheikh, after storming the family home and ransacking.
In Ramallah, in central West Bank, the soldiers stormed and searched many homes in Beit Liqya village, the al-Jalazoun, and Qaddoura refugee camp, before abducting Mohammad Monir Nakhla, Daoud Rafiq al-Da’bouba, Anas Mafarja, and Mohammad Salhi.
Protests took place during the invasion into the al-Jalazonerefugee camp, and the Al-Quds Street, where the soldiers fired gas bombs, concussion grenades, and rubber-coated steel bullets.
In Tulkarem, in northern West Bank, the soldiers abducted Samir Makhoul, Mohammad Abu Khalil, and Mohammad Kharyoush, from their homes.
In Qalqilia, also in northern West Bank, the soldiers abducted Mohammad Saleh Eshteiwi from his home in Kufur Qaddoum town, east of the city.
On Monday evening, the soldiers abducted two siblings from their home in the Old City of occupied East Jerusalem.
